Our Story
I started wedding videography as a freelance marketer FIRST, creating video footage for business clients for social media marketing purposes. I had no intention to do weddings AT ALL! I remember telling my best friend, Sierra, that wedding videography was NOT something I wanted to do or had any interest in. HA. Silly me.
So, I had this wedding venue client and in order to create IG Reels I knew I needed to capture some weddings. I planned to attend a wedding to gather promotional content. The bride didn't have a videographer and she asked me to stay and capture more of her day. Naturally, I said, "Sure, I'll stay and gather as much as I can for you."
WELP! I ended up LOVING IT! I had so much fun capturing another person's best day ever! I remember when I got married and I WISHED I had video footage. So, now I'm just over here trying to convince all the brides in the world to make sure to have a videographer because it will literally be something they will regret if they don't have one!
It's funny the way God uses certain things in our lives to lead us to do something else that we never would have expected.
I named my LLC business Diligent Marketing because the Bible has a multitude of things to say about being diligent or having diligence. God tells us to be diligent in ALL that we do, meaning we should be careful, pay attention to detail, and to persevere in EVERYTHING.
Proverbs 13:4 - The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbs 10:4 - He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
